Chilliwack Mall is a fully-enclosed community Shopping Centre conveniently located between Chilliwack and Sardis, and with easy access off Highway 1. Anchored by Safeway and Wal-Mart, the Mall is also home to such key tenants as Vancity Credit Union, Sardis Liquor Store, and Chevron. Our unique blend of retail stores and services, bolstered by an active promotions calendar and visible involvement in our community, drives steady shopper traffic.

NON-PROFIT GROUPS

The Chilliwack Mall Merchants Association is itself a non-profit organization comprised of mall merchants whose mandate is to oversee marketing initiatives for the mall. They are very active group, organizing many special events and promotions during the year which benefit the community. In addition, they are proud to support the many non-profit organizations within Chilliwack by providing free common area space to groups needing to build public awareness, recruit new members or volunteers, or to raise funds by donation or by the sale of raffle tickets.

To request space for your non-profit group, please forward confirmation of registered non-profit status, a copy of your lottery license if selling raffle tickets, approximate dates and length of intended booking, number of tables and if power is required to Debra Cross (contact information is below). Proof of minimum $1,000,000 liability insurance is also required.

COMMON AREA RENTALS

Common Area rentals are an exciting, economical and potentially profitable option for new and existing vendors. Chilliwack Mall has 6' and 8' buffet-style tables as well as karts for rent. Tables come with skirting and covers, and power can be made available. Karts are fully locking display units with overhead track lighting, power, and storage.

Rates vary depending on the length of your stay, your location within the mall, and if you are participating in an event. For example, special event rates are available for those participating in the annual craft fairs, wedding show, job & education fair, home show, seniors' day, etc.

To request space please forward the following information to Debra Cross; proof of current minimum $1,000,000 liability insurance, approximate start and end dates , basic description of items for sale or services offered, number of tables required or if you are requesting a reservation for a kart and advise if power is a requirement.

SHORT & LONG TERM IN-LINE LEASING

Chilliwack Mall will lease in-line premises on a short-term basis (up to six months) or long-term. Short term leasing gives the prospective Tenant an opportunity to assess the market and it can provide an excellent way to establish your business within the community.
In-line stores present an image of stability to your clients and the business community. You have the ability to store more stock, and offer a wider-range of products or services. In most cases, and with Landlord approval, the store can be tailored to reflect your business's image, therefore 'branding' your business and moving forward to becoming recognizable to your customers. Choosing a mall location over a strip mall, a free standing premise or a downtown location provides the prospective Tenant with built-in traffic. Your store is part of a collective group whereby you benefit from the traffic of the common area events, the other stores in the mall and the draw from the anchors.
